Mobile Check Deposit
PointBank Mobile Check Deposit allows you to deposit checks into your account directly from your iphone or android handheld device. You can deposit checks into any PointBank checking or savings account, and the deposit will appear on your statement and internet banking page. Deposits are subject to succesful image capture, deposits made after 3pm are processed next business day, and funds are held for 5 business days.
It's Easy to get Started
- Download the App
Download the app from The App Store for your iphone,
or Google Play for your Android.
Open the app. Use the bank account number that you want to deposit into as the user id, and your social security number for your password. (You will be asked to change your password after first login for future use. The new password you create must be a minimum of 6 characters in length, and can be numbers or letters.) Read and accept the User Agreement, change your password when prompted, and you are ready to make deposits on the go!
Click the PointBank Deposit Icon on your phone. Login with your user id & password.
Choose the Account
Select the account to deposit into. Select “Enter Amount” and enter the amount of the deposit. Tap “Done”. Verify that the amount typed in is accurate.
Scan the Check-Front
Select “Scan Front” and a window will appear. Follow the instructions on the window with regard to placement and positioning of the front of the check. Tap the camera icon to take the picture. Confirm the image is correct.
Scan the Check-Back
Select “Scan Back” and a window will appear. Follow the instructions on the window with regard to placement and positioning of the back of the check. Tap the camera icon to take the picture. Confirm the image is correct.
Make the Deposit
Tap “Deposit”. A confirmation screen will appear. Verify that this screen reflects the deposit you are making.
