PPP Loan Forgiveness
Paycheck Protection Program – Forgiveness Application Information
The following information is aimed at making your submission process for SBA PPP Forgiveness as smooth as possible.
As of now, you are able to complete the full forgiveness application online, upload any supporting documentation, and e-sign your forgiveness application. The application has step-by-step instructions with a help button that will give you access to best practices, helpful videos, and calculators. If you are not able to fully complete the process in one sitting, all of your work will be automatically saved and available for completion at another time.
To complete your application, you will need your “Promissory Note” which will contain the following pieces of relevant information:
- PointBank Loan Number
- SBA PPP Loan Number (listed as “account” on Promissory Note)
- Loan Date
If you received a PPP Loan in 2020 you should consider submitting your forgiveness application as soon as possible. The SBA allows you 10 months after your covered period ends to submit for forgiveness before you will be required to start making payments.
If you received a PPP Loan in 2021 you will need to wait at least 8 weeks after your loan disbursement to apply for forgiveness as this is the minimum covered period.
