Student Checking

For 13-17 years of age*. A parent/guardian is required to be on the account.

*At the end of the statement cycle after the minor turns 18 years of age the account will be converted to a non-student checking account. When converted, the terms and conditions for the non-student checking account will apply at that time.

A Student Checking account is designed for teens ages 13-17 who are learning to manage money and build good banking habits with the support of a parent or guardian.

Yes, a parent or guardian is required to be a joint owner on the account.

At the end of the statement cycle after the students turn 18 years old, the account will automatically convert to a non-student checking account. The terms and conditions of the new account type will apply at that time.
